I don't like the ps5 slim , I wish I kept the original.. the ps5 slim top left plate gets really , really , really warm when there is no disc in , the back left air vent is the same , i have it on those two stands that he shows in this video but they make no difference , I have the console in a open well ventilated area , & as for the disc you use any disc the top left plate gets hot back left vent gets hot , it was like that the day I bought it and it is Still like that , I took it apart and everything is clean inside only the right side stays cold because of the fan.. it takes over an hour to cool down after it has been turned off.. the original ps5 would never get hot , Disc or no Disc.. it always stayed very warm with disc & cool warm without Disc.. HMV does not sell the original ps5 anymore & they are the only ones I trust when it comes to electrical items

My first thought was that it's for when playing games that play better with the D-pad. It locks the stick in place, so if you accidentally bump it or something, it won't mess up your gameplay.
